What's your refund policy? +

All paid tiers are refundable within 14 days of the initial purchase, no questions asked. Email hello@linguacode.dev with your order number. Pro and Team can also be cancelled anytime to stop the next renewal.

Does Lingua work offline? +

On desktop, yes — fully. Pyodide is bundled inside the binary, JavaScript and TypeScript run in a Web Worker, and Go and Rust use your local toolchains. License verification is offline by design (Ed25519 signed tokens). The web build at app.linguacode.dev needs the first page load over the network; subsequent runs are cached.

Can I try Pro before paying? +

Yes — 14 days, no credit card. Open Lingua, go to Settings → License → Try Lingua Pro free for 14 days, enter your email, and click Start Trial. The token activates automatically (no manual paste). One trial per email and per device.

How does the education program work? +

Verified students and educators get free Pro for one year, renewable. Open Lingua → Settings → License → Educational license, enter your school email (any .edu domain plus .ac.uk, .edu.mx, .edu.au, .edu.ca, .edu.br, and .ac.in), and confirm with the magic link we send you. The token arrives by email and pastes itself into the app.

Can I move my license between machines? +

Yes. A Pro license is bound to a small set of devices (currently three). When you buy a new machine, deactivate the old one from Settings → License — the slot frees up immediately. No phone-home, no waiting on a server.

What happens if a Pro Lifetime release reaches end-of-life? +

Pro Lifetime entitles you to every future stable release. If we ever sunset the product or a particular platform, your token continues to unlock the last release that supported you — you keep using it forever, offline. Source-available means you can also build it yourself.
